- Dedication, still important. A last word of gratitude at the end of the roster.
Hamilton 2092 is a speculative design research project presented as a chronicle written from inside the future. It is a research artifact, a piece of worldbuilding, and a design provocation. It asks: what if we took Indigenous governance, ecological science, and community self-organisation seriously as structure, not decoration?
Every chapter follows a four-column grammar. Zone A (col 1) carries the specimen jar, small data cards and running heads. Zone B (cols 2 to 3) is the page, the primary narrative voice. Zone C (cols 4 to 5) is the voice, field notes from the narrators. Zone D (col 6) is the strip, verified facts and citations.
Nia Crosby narrates Ecology. Urban farmer and Grove steward.
Ravy Ryan narrates Transit. MELA systems engineer.
Elena Adeyemi narrates Civic. Archivist and Dish Protocol practitioner.
Jem Her narrates Fabrication. Bio-computing technician.
The Elder’s Voice threads through Introduction and Epilogue. Haudenosaunee knowledge keeper.
The project carries three physical objects from 2092. The Multi-Lens lets you see living systems. The Orenda Coil connects you to them from the home. The OrgoBots repair the ground. Each has its own lab, its own exhibit tag, and its own chapter echo.
